Inflammation interferes with lung development in model systems and is present chronically
in the lungs of preterm infants who develop bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). Antenatal
inflammation is very commonly associated with preterm deliveries, but there is generally
minimal information about the duration, intensity, or organisms associated with
